About Us

Rudy began his music teaching career while in college and soon found himself teaching music in both private and classroom settings. Since then, Rudy has been part of music education for most of his adult life directing choirs and conducting orchestral groups in both regional and state festival competitions. After teaching music lessons as supplemental income for several years, Rudy and Rachel both realized their dream of opening a full-time studio.

After moving to Morgan County in 2020 their family was warmly welcomed to the area and both Rudy and Rachel began teaching out of their apartment until the growth of their studio required more space. 

Since April 2021, they have been teaching at 103 Commercial Street in Morgan, where they initially began in their role as studio directors for The Piano Place Morgan. In 2023, Rudy and Rachel purchased full ownership of the studio location and launched Morgan Valley Music in an effort to better serve the families and community of this beautiful valley.
